Rebecca Brauntuch

Are you feeling anxious, depressed or overwhelmed? I am a certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in treating these difficult feelings. I work with adults, adolescents and children. My main objective with any client is to make them feel comfortable, and allow the therapy space to feel safe and honest. From there we can explore what treatment modality works best for you. Each client is different, and mindfulness, CBT, anxiety reducing techniques, trauma related approaches, and play therapy are all techniques I have used with various clients.

I received my Bachelors degree from Boston University and Masters degree from New York University, where I trained at a New York City hospital inpatient unit. During my time in New York I received institute trainings from the National Institute for Psychotherapies and The Seleni Institute, to further my knowledge and expertise. I then worked at a private group practice in New York for 7 years before starting RSB Psychotherapy. 
 

I have experience working with adults who experience depression, anxiety, and trauma. I often use a psychodynamic and relational approach to therapy, as well as strengths perspective, which can help build self-esteem, leading to self acceptance. When a client is able to accept themselves, room is made for growth and insight, which then provides an opportunity to explore better ways to cope, manage stress, and identify negative thoughts and feelings.
